We have put together this comparison image showing the height differences between our non-intercooled, intercooled and add-on plate for both the 1UZ/3UZ VVTI and 1UZ non-VVTI manifolds, hopefully this helps answer any questions you all may have over hood clearances.

When you guys state that the setup will be the same height as the factory manifold, do you mean the top of the suercharger will be at the same height as the old upper intake plenum? Or do you mean that the top surface of the lower plenum will be the same height? I’m trying to find a way to measure for my 1UZ 87 cressida, hoping to fit an intercooled setup.
Hi Gareth, The post refers to a setup with a M112 fitted so its the top of the charger being referenced. With that being said this post is old and all manifolds are now supplied with the intercooled manifold body so expect the top of a M112 to be 20mm higher than the factory manifold once a charger is fitted.
